Hey girls I had my ba and full uplift on the 31st October. I went and had my strapping off in Bristol on Friday and had some new dressings put on. The nurse said it all looked good and on Tuesday to take it off myself put new ones on and send her pics. ( I live 2 hours away). I did this and where the sticky but was stuck on my nipple along the top it took the scab of of some of it but she said it would be ok. The nurse also said I can take the dressings off and to shower now and only let the water run over it. I was so worried about getting an infection from where it was open as the was a little bit of blood that I left the dressings on till Wednesday late afternoon. Well as skank as I feel I still Havnt had a shower it’s been ages and I hate it but im petrified of getting in the shower lol!! I have really long hair and I’m worried about getting soap and shampoo on my new boobs. They also still don’t feel like mine and I have really weird sensations in them and it doesn’t feel very nice without a bra on. When did you start showering? Anyone else feel like this sorry about the essay lol. Xxx
