skin care after rhinoplasty

Does anyone have any revcommendations how to get the skin back to normal after rhinoplasty? my nasal skin is very dry and flakey and makeup just looks awful on it! ive tried moisturising and gentle exfoliation! any help would be soooo great xxx new nose looks fab though so this isd a very small price to pay!

Hey hingsy glad to hear ur loving ur new nose!! I had my cast off on fri, really pleased. Love my new profile, it’s amazing but still look pretty swollen front on at the tip!! Praying it will go down soon!! My skin is horrible too, like lots of little blackheads! Dying to scrub it but to scared to touch it! Dr G said not to touch it for 4 months?? X

yeah i know babe 4 months how is this even possible!? have u touched it at all..put moisturiser on or anything?

mine had black heads and was spotty and greasy at first and now has turned dry and flakey (apparently its exfiliating itself!) haha. I tried lightly exfiliating it with a scrub and put moisturiser on it.

main thing is makeup just wont go on it because the skin is not smooth!

I now 4 months seems impossible!! As I’m only 13days post op my nose is still quite sensitive so not touching it. Have just put moisturiser round the edges at the nostrils as dry in there!! My skin over my whole face has been sooo dry, been exfoliating my cheeks n forehead like mad!! Have u much swelling still at tip? X
