Can someone who smokes please message me regarding your last ciggie x

I think it should be at least 2 weeks before your BA and up to 6 weekes after. Ive just quit 4 weeks before x

I had my boobs done on Thursday 18th May and my admission time was at 2pm I never stopped smoking! I had a cig about 20 min before going in! They tell u this on all surgery or operations it’s just procedure x

I smoked the day before and after my op and have smoked ever since! Did I mention my boobs are healed and I had no pain in recovery everyone’s different xx

I was advised to give up smoking. And I’m really struggling!!! Xx

I’m struggling too.

Lots of women don’t give up but it seems like a good motivation to finally stop…..
Feeling nervous and stressed about the op doesn’t help though! Lol x

Hi, I’m a smoker and I asked my surgeon, Dr Lutz, this at my consultation! She said not to worry about stopping although some surgeons can insist on it and even refuse to carry out surgery on the day if you haven’t stopped!! So best to check with your surgeon!
My surgery is tomorrow…cant imagine dealing with the stress, anxiety and excitement without a cigarette!!

I was f8ne had last one 9pm night b4 no complications thankfully x

I stopped a week ago and have 1 week till my surgery. Look you have to decide if that cigarette is worth an infection. My surgeon will nicotine test me on the day and if I have been smoking he’ll cancel. I love smoking but not worth it so went cold turkey
