A stich inside my nose is poking into the side of my nostril and it has now swollen up. It really hurts if i touch it gently. Anyone else had this? I’m seeing the burse tomorrow so im not sure if she’ll be able to do anything ..x
I have a stitch sticking out the side of my nostril, it doesn’t hurt though when I touch it. I asked the nurse when I saw her in Monday and she said they’ll come out on their own. But might be different for different types coz I had closed x
i have a few sticking out but I yawned and I think it moved and one is now poking into my nostril but ive tried to move it and its ok now. I had closed too, He said the stitches are to keep the tip in place and that they wil dissolve in a few months. When do you have your cast taken off? x
I’ve still got a stitch poking out of one nostril 5 weeks po, its gone a lot softer. A lot of my stitches have fallen out my nose, just try not to mess with it or pull on it as it will irritate the skin more. The nurse tried to chop mine down but it hurt that much I asked her to leave it in the end. Hope your both feeling ok x x
i actually just pulled them out it they were causing so much swelling in my nose couldn’t deal with it so I got a cotton bud with warm water and just teased it out if tht makes sense and then just pulled it, I was still pulling out stitches 5months post op lol x
I had my cast taken off on Monday ..love my nose, just can’t wait for the swelling to go down now! I hope I don’t have the stitches sticking out at 5monhs post op haha x
