    hi vanilla
i know exactly what you mean, i kept changing my mind everyday wen i heard different stories of ppl having stretch marks and all sorts…. but i know that there are things that can prevent stretch marks, so iv started rubbing vitamine E oil on my boobs twice a day about two weeks ago and i still got 2 more wks to go before my op, im also gonna buy bio oil cuz iv heard its great! if you do this b4 the op your allowing your boobs to be very elasticy and able to stretch wen they put the implants in! you should also do this after your stiches has hilled! there are risks with everything, but you can try and prevent it! you shouldnt get it if you moisturise and dnt go too big! have you bked a consultation yet?
    hope this helps xx

Hey girls, that was one of my biggest worries, but ive been using bio-oil on them everyday and they have been fine…i was the same as you Vanilla…have some very faint ones from when i had my son, but not really noticeable, and was worried they would darken or get worse with having a ba, but they have been fine…

Bio-oil is recommended by so many people, one of the best things to help reduce the appearance and help prevent them x x

Ahh that really does make me feel better! ill definately invest in that bio oil, results seem hit and miss but fingers crossed! … if i end up getting it done! got my consultation on saturday… aalso, do you know how long after your consultation you can have the operation? I can only really get it done at the beginning of january for a few reasons.. but im beginning to think there may be a very long waiting list?

oh thats great news! wow 2 weeks thats so sooon!! its so strange how easy it is to talk about this stuff on here.. feel pretty stupid discussing it with anyone else! just sounds surreal when it comes out of my mouth! one more question about timing.. soorry! Im out of the country for 3 weeks over xmas, wanted to get it done straight away when i got back, do i have to be in uk 2 weeks be4 the op for a check up or something? or can it be done more than 2 weeks orr a few days.. not sure if that question has made any sense! xx

they’re really great with these things an really flexible too so at your consultation tell them exactley wen you wanna have it done and they’ll arrange it all ither b4 you go or after. you only really have to go once or twice. when you have your consultation you can then arrange to see a surgeon and have your pre-op with the nurse on the same day, and thats it! they then ring you and tell you wat time you have to be at the hospital.so you should be able to do all that before you go away hun if you go up for your consultation pretty soon. do you know wat surgeon your going for? which clinic you going to? xx

yeah went to see him, he was nice, but didn’t really tell me much, i dont think we decided on a size really, i just tried two different profiles i think.. he didnt even tell me if it was going to be unders or overs.. he said he’ll decide on the day of the op :S kind of reassuring that he’s not bothered about it though.. ? he was very reassuring, but maybe too reassuring.. everything i asked he just said no no it will be fine.. e.g scars will dissapear, wont get stretch marks, they dont mess with mammorgrams or breast feeding.. even though all that stuff i have heard otherwise? gah.. im sure he knows best, im just putting total trust in him!
sorry massive ramble there!!! im going for 250’s .. i think i tried on high and low profile.. very unsure about that part! i just want them to look natural, what about you what size are you going for? are you more or less nervous now that its coming closer?
