Stretch Marks

Hi Im just wondering if anybody knows any surgery that would definitely get rid of stretch marks… Ive heard of laser surgery but heard it might not fade all together? Let me kno of anyone knos please thanks x

Funnily enough, I was just researching on google about this for the billionth time and have been reading the same thing. I still think laser surgery would be best because it’s better to have them fade than to waste time with creams that actually do nothing but moisturize! Also, I read that the appearance of stretch marks can continue to fade for up to six months after the surgery.

I went to the Skin clinic in Manchester after I had my daughter because I am absolutely covered in stretch marks, kinda like zebra stripes lol, some of them are an inch wide :sad:. I was told that laser wouldn’t fade them completely and they would fade over time anyway and the best thing to do to even out the appearance is microdermabrasion which costs around

I have a lot of stretch marks due to being over weight and losing the weight has made it a little bit worse. I bought Bio Oil for the first time a few weeks ago and haven’t used it yet, but I’m not really confident about creams and stuff like that to get rid of stretch marks and I have been planning to have laser surgery to get rid of them. I’m going to look into the Skin Clinic and that cream you suggested- sounds good!

Thanks Im goin to look into that cream … do is work anywhere cos Ive got them on back of my legs too!!! and bio oil never worked on me luv and its quite dear too im trying palmers stretch mark cream at the minute but that doesn’t seem to be doing anything either x

Bio oil isn’t too bad but I think it runs out really quickly, I used it when I first started getting stretch marks when I was pregnant & it did start to fade them, but my daughter was just to big for me and my skin just ripped all over & no amount of bio oil could fix that, I have them on the backs of my legs too, behind my knees, they are horrible. The palmers stretch mark cream doesn’t work, I’ve tried that too. Palmers do a scar serum, tiny little bottle costs
