Taking care of incisions…. help

I’m 13 days PO and have just taken off my steri strips and had my first shower… I feel soooooo clean now haha, I wasn’t sure if I could shampoo my hair in the shower so kind of leaned over… can we use shower gels and shampoo as normal and also when can I start putting cream on my incisions? Any advice ladies? Il try attach a pic of them.xx

i haven’t been using any creams, i couldn’t shower until day 14 PO and i was told un perfumed shower gels and washes and no sprays, oils or creams near the incisions. mine have healed well 🙂 i have been using johnsons baby shower cream to wash and dabbing them dry after a shower xx

Your incisions are amazing Helen! I can’t get over how neat they are! How the hell did they squeeze an implant in that tiny hole??
Yeah my nurse said unperfumed shower gel (simple or sanex), short showers not too hot, waging your hair is fine. No creams etc on the incision and try not to touch it. Dab dry with a clean towel and then air dry for 5 mins before dressing xx

Thanks guys, kinda had a bit of a panic now the incisions are put in the open haha, will buy some different shower gel! Helen yours look amazing and have healed so well! Xx

thanks ladies i really can’t believe how small they are! i am amazed how quickly they healed and stopped hurting xx
