Taking the pill

Hey ladies,

I’ve noticed a couple of messages about the pill, I take cerazette do I have to stop before the op and what’s the reasons for it? X

When is your op due. I was told to stop pill as they say could thin out the blood and can carry on taking the pill day after op. I don’t remember not taking it before my first op that was four years ago.

It’s not till March so I have a bit yet x

Hi heather, I also take cerezzette and was told to stop taking it two weeks before and wait till two weeks after surgery to begin taking it again x

Definitely two weeks before & after, just had my pre op today. Something to do with thinning your blood & the healing process xx

My nurse Nicola said I can take straight after well next day.
