Hi All, I am booked in for a tummy tuck on the 14th July! Got my pre-op next week! Am really nervous! I know that not many people have had a tummy tuck, but had a BA and just wondered really what happens when you attend the pre-op? Thanks Claire xxPosted 2 years ago #

Hi Claire I'm new to the forum and was looking for info on tummy tucks & lipo. Have noticed that you are having this done today and I just wanted to wish you luck in the op & recovery. Hope it all goes well for you, and please let us know how it went. Take care P.S. I'm thinkin of having a TT too, possibly some lipo at the same time. Haven't had any consultations, just doing my research yet and in the mean time I've got a few more pounds to lose!! SamPosted 2 years ago #

Hi Sam, Yes had my tummy tuck yesterday performed by Dr Chantasarak and his team. Apart from tenderness around the muscle, I am feeling well. It is still sore, that will ease over time! It's difficult to get yourself out of bed, so do need support. Am happy with results so far. Will give more detail when I get home! claire xPosted 2 years ago #

Hi Claire Thankyou for replying....It's BRILLIANT to hear from someone who's having surgery for something other than BA!!!! I've been considering TT & lipo, but was reluctant to approach MYA, as it appears that they be more experienced in performing BA surgeries, and wasn't sure if many people use them for TT's. I'm glad the op went ok and hoping you'll feel better soon. Was quite surprised to hear from you so soon as I thought you might still be drowsy from the drugs. But it's good know that the pain isnt too unbearable, as this is what really frightens me. I expect you'll still be feeling very weak and have restricted mobility, but I saw from your earlier post that your hubby will be helping, and I hope you get all the support you need to assist you in your recovery. Look forward to hearing about your progress. Take loads of care SamPosted 2 years ago #

Morning Sam Yes, I myself am surprised by how I am feeling. Am being disharged today. I was the same as you. Everyone on thr forum was going for a BA!! So felt off put!! Am glad Iwent through with the tummy tuck. Having a multiple & singular pregnancy has left me feeling awful in some clothing. I looked pregnant! What I will do for you, is keep a diary as such to keep you up to date as the weeks go by. Claire xPosted 2 years ago #
