I had an uplift and implants yesterday. I have a 2 year old. I have explained to her I can’t lift her. As they do recommend no heavy lifting for 6 weeks. My hubby off work for one week and I have a 9 year old who will lift her in and out the bath for me. I wouldn’t risk lifting her till my wounds are heeled.

I struggled to even change gear in my car at 2 weeks so I would really take it easy and keep lifting to a minimum. Everyone’s different but you don’t want to pull at your stitches. The nurse will be able to give you more advice though xx

I’m feeling really well. Day 3 now. I’m fairly mobile. I can get dressed myself and tie my hair up. But opening door handles and flushing the toilet hurts lol. I’m very tender and sore but not in as much pain as I thought I would be. Xxx
