Hi, I’ve seen lots of posts from people who have had vaser who say they were a 8/10 but just with ‘stubborn’ bits.

Has anyone had this surgery for stubborn bits or pockets of fat but was a size 12+ and if so what were your results like?

Hi, I’m a size 12 and having traditional lipo on my belly, I’ll be having it on the 6th April (earlier if I can grab up a cancelation date)
Add me and I’ll be posting up my progress once I get it done.
My consultant says traditional is better at getting the most fat away as they aren’t constricted to a time limit so they really do a thorough job! Xxx

    Hi sal

I was a size 12 pre surgery and I’m now 6 days post op I can hugely see a difference in my flanks however my stomach is a lot flatter but not as flaw as I had hoped. My nurse advised that I am still hugely swollen, so one all this goes down over the next 6 weeks I should see more of a difference. Also great as I keep my garment on for 24 hours and eat a healthy diet. I’m a little anxious to see my final results. Feel free to add me as a friend I will be posting pics after my 4 week mark.

    Hi Sal
How are you surgery plans going?
I had mine on Fri and can honestly say that My experience with Mya was very good.
    All the staff were lovely.
Finally got to have a shower yesterday :-).
Trouble is I can’t get the garment back on. Sooooo difficult. So have got a different body suit on and the 4d vest over. Seeing the nurse on sat and she said it should be fine. Xxx

    That’s great Sal.
    Good luck. Xxx
Had a check up with the nurse yesterday and I’m wearing an all in one spanx type garment with the 4d over the top as the garment caused me awful blisters on my hips.
I’m a lot more comfortable. Bruising is nearly gone I’m just a gorgeous shade of yellow now! Feeling good though. V happy I chose mya xxx

@Katie The blisters sound dreadful glad you can wear something else to ease the blisters. How was the leakage?

Leakage stopped after a couple of days.
I had drains and they were taken out on the mon. ( Had vaser on the Fri)
I won’t lie its not pleasant but far from horrendous.
    When are you booked in?

I’m booked in for the 15th. Excited but a bit bored of waiting now. Ha Ha! Just stalking the internet and thinking of all the things I need and then ordering them. I’m staying with a family member on the first night and I’m obsessed with leakage. Will bring loads of towels but thinking of ordering a raised blow up bed which might be handy as my house has a downstairs bathroom, I can then camp out semi comfortably downstairs as steps might be an issue and I live alone.

Is someone being a darling and looking after you?

They gave me a load of bed covers but to be honest I leaked when I stood up getting out of bed so just put a towel on me when I got up. The worst of the leakage was in the hospital.
I’m pretty much back to normal now. Took just over a week off.back to work weds as I’m a dog groomer it’s quite a physical job.
Hubby has been great. I’ve got 2 small kiddies so he’s been really helping out.
Good luck! Let me know how you get on. Who are you having as your surgeon?

Just 5 days until my surgery – trying to get excited but think it will really feel like I’m getting surgery once I get my admittance time.

Hi @Katie I’m doing fine thanks.

Surgery was done with no complications but I had general anaesethetic in the end not local.

Pain was little to none just uncomfortable sometimes and I had some bad swelling at night or my compression garments were trying to kill me.

Leakage was bad on the first night and day but I protected everything I could to stop it going on sofa/bed/bedding etc.

Thighs look okay but don’t think Beyonce is worried I’m going to steal her thigh crown. Long process now to see end results and like everyone else I just hope its worth it.
