Hi girls, I am now 8 weeks po and have been measured at 32f which is larger than I was expecting. I’m really struggling to find pretty bras in this size. Everything I’ve seen/been shown looks and feels like scaffolding with big bulky straps and far too much fabric covering my boobs. I don’t want to hide them away!!!! Feel teally sad to be honest- after 10 years of struggling due to droopy boobs, I’m now struggling because they’re too big. I see a style I like but by the time it gets to a 32f it looks like a completely different bra. ????. Please help!! Xx

Hi Nikki. Obviously I am not at the bra buying stage but I have seen this website http://alexissmith.eu. Which was apparently set up for people who have bigger boobs and smaller backs and only have two hooks to fasten and thin straps. Looks like there’s some lovely bras on there and sets. Not sure what other people think of them so would be interested to see if anyone has ordered off them on this forum. I remember you saying they felt small at one point do you still wish they were a bit bigger looking wise or do they feel bigger now? They are supposed to measure bigger than natural breasts aren’t they. I don’t really want to be more than a D but I can see I will be xxx

Hi terri, thanks for the link – I’ll check it out! I’ve called at good old M&S on my way home from work and got a couple of bras from the Rosie Huntington Whitely range that are quite nice and make me feel good! I’m currently measuring 32e/f which is bigger than I expected. It’s really surreal though (not sure whether other people feel the same???) – in clothes you genuinely wouldn’t know I’d had surgery. Not one person has asked and I’ve barely told anyone so was expecting to be questioned, yet my bra size is 2 cups different. From a bra size point of view I would have loved to be a dd because as soon as you go above that the bra shapes change andthey look bulky but I don’t feel as though I’ve got that ‘oomph’in clothes.
I really need to take some new piccies of me clothed and I’m bras – I’ll add some to my profile tomorrow.

How are you feeling today? I hope you’re feeling good about them – I was very up and down emotion wise and was (and still am) in a love/hate relationship with my new boobies but reading other people’s journeys on here I think that’s normal. My beautician had implants last year and it took her 6 months to like hers so I still think there’s lots of changes ahead. It’s a tough one – I love them 100% more than my old boobs but they’re not the ideal image I had in my head. I know nothings guaranteed but I do struggle some days. Xx
