What is Hyperhidrosis?

Excessive sweating is known as hyperhidrosis and is common in both men and women. Muscle relaxants, commonly known as Botox®, can be used to treat this, usually on the underarms and hands. The Hyperhidrosis Treatment Procedure

After your consultation, the practitioner will treat the hyperhidrosis by injecting muscle relaxants in to the affected areas. The relaxants work by entering the sweat glands and blocking the impulses that cause them to secrete moisture. The treatment usually takes between 30 and 45 minutes.
