Breast Uplift Surgery
Breasts can lose their shape after weight loss, following childbirth or as part of the natural ageing process. Diet and exercise can help recovery but are not always enough.
An uplift and reshaping of the breast can be a great confidence booster giving a much younger, rejuvenated appearance. This can either be done alongside a breast enlargement or without significantly altering the size of your breasts.
The Uplift Procedure
The operation involves the surgeon removing the excess skin and creating a much more pert breast. Small incisions are made in order to allow the nipple and areola to sit higher on the breast.
How Long Does Recovery Take?
You will need to spend one to two nights in hospital followed by a couple of weeks off work. You will need to avoid any heavy exercise for several weeks. Following breast uplift surgery, you will need to wear a supportive bra and refrain from too much physical activity. The stitches will be removed after 7-14 days.
