'Botox boob job' developed in US
20/03/2008

Botox, which is traditionally used to smooth out facial lines, could be a new alternative to breast augmentation, reveals Reuters.
According to the news source, the Botox boob job involves injections into the pectoral muscles which subsequently raises the back and improves posture.
New York cosmetic dermatologist Dr Patricia Wexler has been offering the procedure for two years and stated: "When it is asked for, people are very pleased with it.
"Some people never want scalpel procedures and you can actually get a significant lift with something like that."
Dr Wexler added that although the treatment only lasts a few months, it can be perfect for a special occasion or when wearing a particular strapless dress.
Botox is already being used to combat excessive perspiration in the underarm area and other injectable lifts are being developed to treat sagging earlobes, the source continued.
Dr Jennifer Levine, a New York cosmetic surgeon, explained that thin and saggy earlobes can make a face look older and an injectable can provide "immediate gratification".
X-Factor judge Simon Cowell recently claimed having Botox was no more unusual than using toothpaste.
