'The Hills star happy with surgery'

Heidi Montag, star of MTV''s The Hills has said she is "thrilled" with the results of her plastic surgery.

In an interview for msnbc''s Access Hollywood programme, the 21-year-old explained that she was tormented by her appearance prior to surgery.

Ms Montag claimed that her nose job and breast enlargement were careful decisions which she made after years of teasing.

She said: "I thought about it for several years, and I waited until I had the finances, and really thought about it and was old enough to really make a mature decision.".

The star had surgery in April and claimed to have no regrets.

In related news, the World Entertainment News Network has reported that pop singer Madonna may have had a facelift.

According to the news provider, the 49-year-old singer was photographed with dark circles around her eyes leaving a medical building in New York.
