'UK ladies want to change their figure'

The majority of British women want a better body, a new study has found.

According to the Diva TV channel, when asked what they would like to change about themselves, most women said their figure, followed by a more assertive personality.

The survey quizzed UK women on their targets for 2008 and found that travelling the world, running a successful business and learning a new language were the most common aims.

However, women also claimed that losing weight and having more time to themselves would improve their general quality of life.

Other factors which would enhance their lives were cites as a better job, a better sex life, cosmetic surgery and a new wardrobe.

It has been recently reported that new mothers are opting for cosmetic surgery as they seek to regain their pre-pregnancy figures.

The so-called Mommy Makeover includes a tummy tuck, breast augmentation and liposuction.
