Botox "great" at removing frowns
09/05/2008

People who have heavy frown lines would benefit from Botox treatment, it has been suggested.
Douglas McGeorge, president of the British Association of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons, stated that women probably make up around 90 per cent of Botox patients.
He added that Botox is "great" at removing a heavy frown, a problem which both men and women suffer from.
"It''s a very simple procedure to do and if it''s done well, it produces a very good result which will last about six months," he claimed.
According to a 2006 study by Dr Carter Singh of Derbyshire Royal Infirmary and consultant plastic surgeon Martin Kelly of London Plastic Surgery Associates, over half of Botox patients report "feeling" younger as well as looking more youthful.
It also found that nearly half of the patients are angry when they are criticised for using Botox and 40 per cent have expressed a desire for further cosmetic treatments.
