Botox is like 'restoring a picture'

Having non-surgical cosmetic enhancements is like restoring a picture, it has been claimed.

Cosmetic surgeon Jean Louis Sebagh told the Times that he is not intending to change people''s faces through treatment but maintain their beauty for as long as possible.

Dr Sebagh explained that Botox and fillers cannot make people look 25 years old again.

However, if patients keep up regular Botox treatments when they are aged between 35 and 40, he claimed he will be able to maintain their face for around 20 years without the need for cosmetic surgery.

"Some women have a filled, Botoxed look - big plumpy cheeks and lips that are horrible and out of proportion," he said. "But with skill everything can be harmonious."

Dr Sebagh added: "I have patients in their sixties who are the perfect combination of maturity, beauty, life and soul."

In a recent interview with the Daily Record, Dr Sebagh said that patients need to remember that Botox "works hand in hand" with a good skincare regime.
