Breast augmentation surgery 'a solution to uneven cup sizes'
09/03/2010

Those who are worried about the uneven cup sizes of their breasts could be wise to turn to
breast augmentation in a bid to even them out, one expert has advised.
Christiane Northrup, author of Women's Bodies, Women's Wisdom, told Cosmopolitan magazine that
plastic surgery can prove to be a permanent solution to the problem and will eradicate the need to fill bras with foam or gel pads to accommodate the smaller cup.
Andrew Da Lio, associate professor or plastic surgery at the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA, advised: "You can get the larger breast reduced, put an implant in the smaller one, or do a combo of the two."
Breast augmentation surgery continues to be the most popular cosmetic procedure in the UK - recent statistics from the British Association of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons (BAAPS) revealed that some 8,439 of the total 34,187 procedures carried out by BAAPS members in 2008 accounted for this type of surgery.
However, it is not just popular among women, as the body also found that there has been an 80 per cent rise in demand for male
breast reduction procedures over the past year.
