Breast implants could be key to wealth

Breast implant surgery may be one of the key factors in gaining celebrity and wealth.

That is according to Colin Stewart writing for the OC register who noted that the women from Britain's top two wealthy celebrity couples are both said to have undergone breast surgery.

Katie Price, who has recently split from husband Peter Andre, is widely reported to have been the recipient of several different breast implant surgeries.

Additionally, Victoria Beckham is also rumoured to have had her breasts surgically enhanced on more than one occasion and recently is said to have had her large implants removed in an effort to change her image.

Mr Stewart noted the link between breast implants and financial success and posed the question: "Does the same pattern apply in the United States?"

Breast augmentation remains the most popular cosmetic surgical procedure in the US with more than 300,000 having been performed in 2008, according to the American Society of Plastic Surgeons.
