Cosmetic surgeons 'busy before the Oscars'
25/02/2008

The month before the Oscars is the busiest in any Hollywood cosmetic surgeon''s diary, it has been claimed.
According to the Daily Mail, those glamorous actors and actresses do not get to appear so perfect without hours of pre-ceremony treatments, procedures and pampering sessions.
Dr Renato Calabria, cosmetic surgeon from Beverly Hills, told the newspaper that one of the most popular procedures is the One Stitch Facelift, which tightens facial skin with one stitch under the hairline.
"The effect is more subtle than a full facelift and popular among clients in their late 30s," Dr Calabria said.
Another commonly requested treatment is the Volumetric Facelift, according to cosmetic surgeon Dr Richard Ellenbogen.
This involves taking fat from a patients abdomen to be inserted in the face to achieve fuller characteristics.
No Country For Old Men won the Oscar for Best Picture at this year''s awards ceremony, which also celebrated the event''s 80th year.
