The winner of a cosmetic surgery prize has said she is "excited and nervous" to receive the £10,000 of enhancements next week.
Christine Adams, mother-of-five from Headland, won a Full House magazine competition last year to undergo a number of operations to improve her look.
The 56-year-old told the Hartlepool Mail that she was nicknamed Skeletor by members of her family after a brain haemorrhage left lines on her face.
However, after the breast augmentation, facelift and upper and lower eyelift surgery is complete, she is hopeful she will be transformed.
Ms Adams told the newspaper: "I can''t wait until the bandages come off. I''ll be able to go out more and smile more."
Last year facelifts experienced the most growth out of all cosmetic surgery procedures in the UK - a 36 per cent rise - according to figures by the British Association of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons.
