Cosmetic surgery was treat to myself, says Jodie Marsh

24/04/2008

Jodie Marsh has revealed that she felt sad and saggy before her breast augmentation operation.

Speaking to the Sun newspaper, the former Celebrity Big Brother contestant explained that she had a "horrible" year in 2007 and the cosmetic surgery was to make herself happier.

"Also, I was sagging so much I was too embarrassed to take my top off in front of men," she added. "So I decided to have an uplift and a big implant."

The glamour model had her breasts enlarged from her natural 32DD to a size 32GG.

She recently told the Sunday Mirror that she is 100 per cent happy with her new larger bust.

Last year, the number of breast augmentation procedures in the UK rose by six per cent, according to figures from the British Association of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons.

The procedure continues to be the number one cosmetic surgery operation among British women, followed by blepharoplasty - otherwise known as eyelid surgery - and liposuction.
