George Clooney 'may have had his eyes done'

Hollywood George Clooney may have finally succumbed to the temptation of plastic surgery in a bid to hold back the years.

At least that is the opinion of Daily Mail journalist Richard Simpson, who has claimed that the 48-year-old seems to have had work done on his eyes.

Commenting on the Ocean's Eleven star's appearance at the London premiere of Fantastic Mr Fox, he said: "The eyebags which were so apparent when he attended the Academy Awards last year had vanished."

The reporter speculated that George's new fresh and tautened look could be an attempt to keep up with his stunning new girlfriend Elisabetta Canali who, at 18 years his junior, looks a lot younger than him.

This comes after X Factor judge Louis Walsh, 57, recently admitted to having the bags under his eyes removed as well Botox, which he described as "maintenance" to keep him looking good on TV.
