Gordon Ramsay may have had Botox, says surgeon

Celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay may have had Botox or cosmetic surgery, it has been claimed.

Reported by the Daily Mail, the 41-year-old appeared at Britain''s Best 2008 Awards last week looking less aged than usual.

The newspaper claimed that the lines in his chin and pronounced frown looked less deep than on previous occasions.

Plastic surgeon Alex Karidis told Heat magazine: "It''s possible he''s had some work done - Botox for the forehead or some fillers in the chin."

Ramsay recently joked about cosmetic surgery after returning from the US, asking whether the Botox had worked. However, a spokesperson for Ramsay has denied the new claims.

Fellow television personalities Simon Cowell and Amanda Holden have both admitted to using Botox to stay fresh-faced.

Cowell claimed the treatment is no more unusual than using toothpaste and Holden confessed to having the injections in an interview with the News of the World this week.
