Heidi Montag talks about breast op

US reality TV star Heidi Montag has talked about her recent operation to have breast implants and nose surgery.

She told Us Weekly that she had "always been very insecure" about her body and wanted the procedures to be performed so she would feel more confident about herself.

People have "made fun of me for being so flat" in the past she added, revealing that the breast augmentation procedure had taken her from an A cup to a C.

Ms Montag says she used it to find it particularly embarrassing to go to the beach and find herself in the company of large-breasted women.

She explained: "On the beach, if I was standing next to a girl with big boobs, I’d be like, I hate her."

The 21-year-old Ms Montag is best known for featuring in a reality TV series called The Hills, which follows the lives of affluent young people in Beverley Hills.
