Irish makeover star: Surgery left me glowing

A mother-of-four has spoken out about her part in an upcoming programme about cosmetic surgery.

Sharon Scully, who will feature on Inside and Out, told the Irish Independent that she entered the show to improve her self-confidence.

Having undergone a tummy tuck, nose job, dental treatment and Botox injections, Ms Scully said the programme has changed her life.

"I''m far more confident now," said the 37-year-old. "I used to always wear black beforehand and now I wear a lot of different colours."

"[Colleagues] said I was glowing when I first finished the show," she added.

Ms Scully also claimed that her love life has been looking up since undergoing her makeover, stating that although she is in no rush for love, she has been on a couple of dates.

The programme featuring Ms Scully will be screened on Irish channel TV3 at 20:00 BST on March 25th and transformations of seven others will be included throughout the eight-part series.

Mintel research has revealed that mothers with young children are more likely than others to seek cosmetic surgery.
