Wayne Rooney''s mother stepped out looking extremely slim and youthful for Coleen McLoughlin''s hen do this weekend.

The 41-year-old mother of the Manchester United striker Jeanette Rooney has lost around seven stone in the past five years, reports the Daily Mail , fuelling speculation that she may have had cosmetic surgery.

Leading plastic surgeon Dr Alex Karadis told the newspaper that her weight loss could be due to a good diet but that this would still mean she would need to wear a corset to achieve such a flat stomach.

"However, she could also have opted for a tummy tuck - which involves making an incision from hip to hip just above the public area, removing fat and skin," he said.

Dr Karadis added that Mrs Rooney may have had breast implants and a slight lift in the bust area as they should have sagged through weight loss but instead seem "quite perky".

However she went about losing the weight, no doubt Mrs Rooney wants to look particularly glamorous for her son''s impending wedding this summer.

The celebrity couple have signed a multi-million pound deal with OK! magazine for the exclusive rights to the wedding photos.
