Joan Collins: I would have surgery on a double chin

Joan Collins would have cosmetic surgery if she developed a double chin, it has been reported.

In an interview with US magazine Black Book, the 75-year-old Dynasty star criticised the Hollywood industry for its lack of roles for mature women.

In reference to her looks, the actress claimed she will age naturally - unless gravity takes its toll.

"I don''t want to keep having my face pulled and poked and Botox''d until I don''t look like myself," she said. "But if I got a double chin I would do something about it!"

Collins, who appeared in ITV1 drama Footballers Wives in 2006, also criticised young stars that are photographed acting outrageously or without underwear.

She explained that no "normal girl" allows the paparazzi to shoot at such an uncompromising angle.

Reported by Bang Media International, cosmetic surgeon Alex Karidis claimed that when he met Collins in 2004, she displayed signs of a facelift and an eyelift.

However, Dr Karidis'' claims have not been confirmed.
