Kerry confirms surgery suggestions

Reality TV star Kerry Katona has officially confirmed she plans to have plastic surgery, but did not reveal what treatments she was considering.

Last week, reports emerged that the former Atomic Kitten singer was considering liposuction in a bid to help her loose weight.

At the time, the rumours remained unconfirmed.

Now, however, Kerry has explained to the readers of her regular column in OK! magazine that she is indeed planning on going under the knife.

The winner of I''m a Celebrity said that she had been hurt by reports that she wanted liposuction because she had been "piling on the pounds".

Instead, she stressed that she has not even "put that much weight on".

Despite this, and the reservations of husband Mark Croft, Katona confirmed she was looking at surgery.

"Mark doesn''t want me to, but I’m going to have surgery," she told the readers. "I''m scared about going under the knife but I’m not great with the old exercise routines."

Previously, Kerry was married to ex-Westlife star Brian McFadden, with whom she has two children.
