Male breast reduction "changed my world"
08/02/2008

After losing a lot of weight, men are turning to breast augmentation operations to remove their "moobs", it has been reported.
Marius Muller, a 28-year-old carer, told the Sun how after losing almost 20 stone he had layers of loose skin on his stomach and breasts which could not be shifted through exercise.
"Men in the street would say, ''He''s got t**s!''. I wanted to curl up and die," he explained.
However, after having a tummy tuck and breast reduction, Mr Muller said: "It changed my world."
"I''m going out more. I''m playing the field," he added.
The breast surgery involved the reduction of excess skin and then repositioning of his nipples, costing around £4,000.
According to the newspaper, Mr Muller now boasts a 42 inch chest and no longer has to wear oversized t-shirts to hide his figure.
Figures released by the British Association of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons show that male breast augmentation increased by 27 per cent over 2007, with 224 procedures performed.
