Mini-facelifts 'subtle and graceful'
28/01/2008
A mini facelift may be the right surgical procedure for people wanting a new look with less recovery time, claims the Bray Plastic Surgery Medical Centre.
The firm reports that mini-facelifts correct early signs of ageing but focus on less of the face such as the lower third.
Unlike a full facelift, mini procedures are less dramatic and therefore create a more naturally enhanced look and also use smaller incisions so need less recovery time, it adds.
The clinic states: "Even though mini-facelifts are more expensive than a single injectable treatment and do require some downtime, the length of cosmetic improvement given by the mini-facelift makes it a good option for many people."
Possible patients for the procedure include younger people with significant wrinkles in certain areas of their face, it continued, claiming the results are subtle and more graceful than that of drastic surgery.
In related news, fresh claims about Madonna''s use of cosmetic surgery to defy the signs of ageing have arisen after she was photographed with bruising around her eyes.
