Natural beauty is 'achievable'
27/11/2007
Natural-looking beauty can be attained through cosmetic surgery, according to one expert.
Reported in the Manila Standard Today, dermatologist Dr Almond Derla claims that noticeable enhancements are a thing of the past and that nowdays nobody can tell that self-improvements are a result of surgery.
"People would always want to look beautiful because they can be more confident when they feel beautiful," said Dr Derla.
"It gives them a certain degree of happiness and self satisfaction. I think that''s what matters," he added.
He explained that despite changing Hollywood trends in beauty, the natural look is always the most popular.
According to Dr Derla, the increasing competition in the cosmetic surgery industry ensures patients are given one-to-one attention and treated with the utmost care.
Reported by Plasticsurgeryaxis.com, the reasons people opt for cosmetic surgical enhancements include a permanent pause in the ageing process, a correction to a facial deformity or simply because they are unhappy with their appearance.
