Nip/Tuck star admits to lipo

John Schneider has revealed that he underwent liposuction two years ago.

The actor, who appeared in Nip/Tuck and The Dukes of Hazzard, explained that he opted for the treatment after his exercise regime failed to yield the results he wanted.

"I went down the liposuction route a couple of years ago," Schneider told TV show Extra.

He explained: "I did 1,000 sit-ups and nothing was happening."

And while the procedure was quite painful, Schneider suggested that it was worth the effort and that the result was "great".

Earlier this year it was rumoured that Hollywood actor George Clooney had undergone liposuction after he was spotted with what looked like a scar on his stomach.

However, his representative Stan Rosenfield denied that Clooney had had work done.

Suggesting that what has been described as a scar was in fact just a skin crease, Mr Rosenfield said: "It''s probably just from putting on the weight he lost from filming during his last movie."
