Non-surgical treatments which can help patients look younger are becoming increasingly popular according to one US-based skincare expert.
Speaking to WUSA9.com, dermatologist Howard Brooks said that treatments such as Botox were still attractive to those looking to combat wrinkles.
The Washington-based doctor said: "Studies show that while there is a decrease in surgical procedures such as
face lifts, non-surgical treatments are on the rise."
He added that the most popular of these was Botox injections, which work to decrease the fine lines and wrinkles which can appear on older faces.
Speaking to the same publication was Ladonna Curzon, a mother looking to return to work after raising her children.
Ms Curzon said that she believes getting Botox would help her chances of becoming employed.
A number of celebrities, including X Factor judge Simon Cowell, have admitted to having Botox treatment in the past.
