Surgery suggested to help 'gaunt' celebs

Super-slim celebrities could undergo surgery to help add volume to gaunt facial features, experts have suggested.
As reported by the Daily Mail, cosmetic surgery experts explained that the current trend experienced by Hollywood celebrities is that by thinning down to a slim bodily physique, their faces are compromised and left looking gaunt with protruding cheekbones.
While many young women are able to obtain a size zero physique to match their youthful faces, celebrities in their 30s are struggling to keep their facial condition in line with their slim figures, Beverly Hills dermatologist Dr Stuart Kaplan explained.
He noted that the collagen-based repair process used by the body to keep cheeks full begins to slow down for people over the age of 30.
"You need intervention to restore a youthful appearance," Dr Kaplan stated to the paper.
One Los Angeles cosmetic surgeon told the newspaper that Victoria Beckham has a skeletal face and out-of proportion cleavage, rendering her a "perfect example of LA''s obsession with wanting it all".
According to research by Abbey this month, some 918,000 Britons are currently planning to pay for cosmetic surgery through £1.4 billion worth of financial loans.
