Women ditch haircuts for boob jobs

As the threat of a recession builds, women across the UK are foregoing regular trips to the salon for the latest hair style in favour of a longer-lasting beauty fix, it is said.

According to cosmetic surgery expert Dr Paul Cronin, more women are investing money normally spent in the salon in breast enhancement.

"With salons charging so much for a hairstyle, I''m not surprised women are choosing to boost their breasts instead."

The ''lunchtime lift'' is growing increasingly popular among women who want larger or reshaped breasts without the need for downtime.
