How long do you wear a surgical bra after breast augmentation?

You will need to wear a post-operative surgical bra or sports bra as instructed by your surgeon following surgery, this is typically 6-8 weeks. You will not be able to wear underwired or lace bras until your Surgeon or MYA healthcare team advise it is safe do so. We suggest you buy two post-operative bras, so that you can wear one while the other one is being washed.

Many people prefer to continue wearing support bras when sleeping in the weeks or months after this initial period, and you’re free to do so if you want.
