When can you take a bath after breast augmentation?

One of the first things you’ll want to do after undergoing any type of breast surgery, including a breast enlargement, is to sink into a much-needed bubble bath. Unfortunately though, you’ll have to wait a little while after your surgery before soaking up the suds.

After your operation please do not allow the incisions to get wet until you are advised it is safe to do so by your surgeon or healthcare team at MYA. You can wash around the area. If you do accidently get your dressing wet, it is important that you contact your clinic nurse for advice. We do not recommend submerging your wounds into a bath or go swimming until your wounds have been assessed by the healthcare team and you are advised that you can do so.
