The clothes, the celebrities, the clothes, the back-stage gossip …did we mention the clothes? Twice a year fashion editors, buyers and bloggers from around the globe flock to the fashion capitals of the world. It can only mean one thing – Fashion Week season. Of course it’s all about fashion, but who can resist spotting all the stars parading their latest looks? Last year, MYA favourite Kim Kardashian stole the spotlight when she debuted her new platinum locks at Paris Fashion Week. What surprises will Kimye have in store for us this year? We can’t help but wonder. One of the season’s most hotly anticipated shows is Puma By Rihanna. On the 12th February, Riri will show her new Puma collection at New York Fashion Week. As we’re not lucky enough to be there in person, we’ll be keeping our eyes locked on Instagram for the pics. Though New York is first on the agenda, from the 19th - 23rd February all eyes will be on London Fashion Week 2016 when over 80 fashion brands and designers present their new Autumn/Winter collections. And this year it gets even better! The general public (yes, that means us) will get to see LFW catwalk shows just a few days after they first shown to the fashion industry. So, save the date and start planning your wardrobes, here’s MYA’s guide to LFW’s most unmissable events and must-watch shows:

Monday February 8, Madame Tussauds

In the run up to London Fashion Week, wax figures of Cara Delevingne and Kendall Jenner will be the latest additions to the museum. Pose for a few selfies with Cara and Kendall then make like a model and strut your stuff on the catwalk as the Editor-in-Chief of American Vogue, Anna Wintour, watches you. Not the lady herself of course, but we can dream!

21st February, Topshop Unique

The show for the luxury label from everyone’s favourite high street destination is a must-see for a star-studded front row and edgy, more affordable fashion. Chances are high that real Cara and Kendall will make an appearance.

22nd February, Burberry

No surprises that the front row of the heritage brand’s show is usually littered with celebs. The likes of Kate Moss and Paloma Faith are front row veterans. But you don’t have to miss out if you haven’t got an invitation. All you need is Snapchat. Last season, Burberry showcased their collection live on the app so anyone could take a peek at their collection.

25th to the 28th of February, the Saatchi Gallery plays host to London Fashion Weekend.
