Header: Credit: Shutterstock It’s that time again ladies, the Victoria Secret Fashion Show is right round the corner so let’s go ahead and not order that pizza and do the 6 am spinning class because we want to look like the 6 ft Amazonian supermodels like Gigi Hadid and Candice Swanepoel.

Happy Birthday, @angelcandices!

Like every year, the show is littered with controversy in the run up to the eagerly anticipated event. Speculations dominate the news. Who will walk? Who’s invited?  Who is wearing the biggest wings? Who is performing?  Well of course this year is no different; with the show set to take place in Paris this November, Victoria Secret have been releasing teasers of some of the chosen angles. Bella Hidid, sister of Gigi, has been teased after being chosen to walk last year, which some feel is a publicity stunt due to the sisters rising social fame. Famous boyfriend Abél Makonnen Tesfaye, better known as the lead singer of The Weekend, will be also performing. If you ask us, it makes the 2017 show all the more exciting.
The real controversial story comes from UK supermodel and Victoria Secret veteran Cara Delevingne who hasn’t walked in the show since 2013, but could that change?  Following a recent article in The Sun which stated that she was too "bloated" to walk the 2014 show, VS Fashion Show executive producer Edward Razek reached out to the model personally to clear the air about the ridiculous statement. This just happened to end with a very exciting proposal that Cara shared with her fans on Instagram.
Her comments read "It's shameless to discuss women's bodies just to sell papers #bloated," followed by a heart emoji obviously directed to Victoria Secret. So is it true?  Is she accepting the invitation to walk in the 2017 show?  All we know for sure is that we will be watching in awe and starting our diet the following morning..
