Every girl knows that a touch of lippy can transform a fuss-free day look to glam in an instant. Whether you’re all about a classic red lip or your go-to choice is a go-with-anything nude, nothing finishes off your face like a well applied lipstick. So no wonder it’s a bit of a nightmare when your favourite lipstick breaks or melts. Aargh! What’s even more annoying? When it’s a newly bought tube or a pricey purchase. Sad face emojis must have been made for situations like this. ca30977c2b37a9f7a6f93f5a80fb39fb Found on gallery.sephora.com Whilst your first thought is probably to throw it away and head to the make-up counter for a replacement, MYA have come to the rescue. What You Do:

Put down some paper towels or start off with a surface you can easily wipe clean – this could get a little messy! Screen Shot 2015-11-11 at 09.46.29 Remove the broken piece from the tube then twist the tube up as far as possible. Screen Shot 2015-11-11 at 09.46.36 Using a lit matchstick or a lighter, carefully melt both broken ends. Only slightly though – you don’t want to end up with burnt lipstick! If you’re not sure of flames, then a hairdryer on a high heat and low speed will work just as well.
