A gorgeous dress, a touching ceremony and a memorable reception followed by a luxurious honeymoon - we’ve all dreamt of the perfect wedding day. But before you start hearing those wedding bells, it helps if they’ve asked to put a ring on it. We at MYA love a bit of romance and there’s nothing that tugs at our heart strings more than an unforgettable proposal in a beautiful location. Sit back and imagine a beautiful game reserve with stunning scenery surrounded by wildlife. No, it’s not a scene from The Lion King; but a Kenya safari experience would be just as magical as our favourite childhood movie. Hakuna Matata. Imagine staying in a luxurious cabin with the backdrop of nature all around you. Prince William chose this incredible location to propose to our very own Princess, Kate. Well, if it’s good enough for royalty, it’s definitely good enough for us.

With its winding canals, breath-taking sights and great restaurants, it’s hard not to fall in love with Venice. Silver fox George Clooney certainly must adore it – in 2014 he and wife Amal decided to tie the knot here. OK, so you may be thinking that a ride on a gondola is a bit cheesy but there’s plenty more that this amazing city has to offer. Escape the crowds and head to Sotoportego dei Preti instead. This covered passageway arches over a hidden heart-shaped stone. Local legend has it that couples that touch it together will stay in love forever. Aaw!

Fly out to the ideal romantic getaway where you can soak up the sun, indulge yourself in the lavish resorts and maybe become a bride-to-be.
