So far so good! Thanks! The vest is very restrictive but I’m getting used to it and have stopped the paracetamol today. Still taking ibuprofen for swelling but feeling good. You do get tired easily but just have to know your limits. I’m 3 days PO now. Saw my tummy and flanks yesterday at my nurses appointment and they looked good, albeit a bit swollen. Get to shower tonight, soooooo excited! Worried about going back to work tomorrow though. Vest makes me feel massive. And I don’t know how I’ll cope with a full day’s work haha! X

Sorry for the delay, I haven’t been online for a few days. I’m so glad to hear it is all going well, and everything is looking good so far – it all sounds great! I’m not suprised you were looking forward to a shower! Did you have to avoid the incisions? Was it easy?Did you cope with work OK?
I’m excited now, i’m not for about a month though (I needed a particular date, so had reserve the date quite far in advance), but seeing the surgeon tomorrow, then the pre-op booked for next week. Not long now 🙂 x
