• Why did you want the procedure?

  after i had my daughter my breasts went huge when filled with milk but after that stage had passed my breasts didn’t feel as full and one side had continued to produce milk making it slightly larger and lower than my other breast.

• Why did you choose MYA?

  i chose mya as it was recommended by a friend and after my initial consultation i knew mya was the right place for me.

• How was your consultation?

  I was made to feel really comfortable and well tended to. Everything was explained to me brilliantly.

• How was the day of your procedure?

  All of the nurses and doctors were lovely. They helped alot with my nerves and were always there to help with any concerns. I never had to wait for painkillers if i needed them they were brought pronto and food was lovely. Fresh water was always there for me and they helped to pour it as the jug was too heavy at first.

• How was your recovery?

  I am now on day 6 of recovery and although i struggled to do the simplest of things at first like dressing myself, pulling up my trousers, getting out of bed etc, this didn’t last long a couple of days at most. I am now fully mobile and still taking anti biotics but i no longer feel the need for painkillers as i am in more discomfort than pain.

• Are you happy with your results?

  i am very happy with the result i have gained and although i am yet to be fully healed i feel great, i can’t walk past a mirror without checking myself out and i am so happy. Beforehand i avoided full length mirrors and wore 2 sizes bigger padded bras but not anymore those days are gone.
