• Why did you want the procedure?

  I chose to have a breast augmentation because of many reasons mainly because I had saggy deflated bee stings!

  I fell pregnant when i was 15, I was naturally a double d, but I lost a significant amount of weight in such a short period of time leading to me losing my boobs and following that my confidence.

  I decided after 3 years of suffering with depression and anxiety i would finally go under the knife at just 18 years old! A lot of people think I’m to ‘young’ to make such a big change and that I’m ‘stupid’ for making the decision, when in reality I done it for myself, it’s my body, it’s my choice, what I’ve learnt is do something for YOU nobody else can make such a big decision for you other then yourself! I recommend MYA 100% to anybody considering plastic surgery especially a breast augmentation!

• Why did you choose MYA?

  I chose MYA after doing a lot of research on different companies, MYA stood out for me because of their amazing feedback and a few of my favourite celebrities getting a breast augmentation with MYA! I also following a few MYA girls on Instagram and a few of the girls had the results I wanted!

• How was your consultation?

  My consultation went really well, my pc was lovely, all the girls at MYA Birmingham Clinic are so welcoming the minute you walk through the door, I was so nervous but my pc assured me that I would get the results I was looking for, she answered all my questions and reassured me that everything will go well, we discussed surgeons and possible implant sizes I was originally told 250cc as im such a small build, my second consultation I met my surgeon along with my pc he got all of my measurements and decided on 300 and 325cc high profile I was really happy as I wasn’t expecting these sizes! I trusted my surgeon and went with what he thought as he’s the professional I booked my surgery date that day for exactly 2 weeks later! I was so happy I only had a couple of weeks to wait!

• How was the day of your procedure?

  The day of my procedure came round so fast, I was really nervous, I don’t actually know why because there was nothing to be nervous about I was in safe hands with my surgeon and the MYA nurses I think it was the getting put to sleep part, but you literally just go in to a deep sleep and wake with new boobs! I arrived at the Fitzroy in London at half 7, after about a 1 minute wait I got took up to my room, I put on my gown almost immediately I was that excited, my surgeon came into my room to draw on me a long with the anaesthesia nurse, they talked me through the procedure and got me to sign some consent forms i was then told I’m second to go for surgery, after what felt like a life time wait of 2 hours the nurse came to take me to surgery, and there it was I was lay on the bed and everything went a blur.

  2 hours later I woke up next to the nurses, I felt like I’d been on a one week bender, after 20 minutes of checking me over I get wheeled down in to my room, surprisingly i wasn’t in any pain.

  The nurses was lovely propping me up whenever I slipped down the bed, checking on me etc, after half an hour I ate some food and had some sips of water which I managed to keep down.

  A few hours later my surgeon came to check on me he was amazing, he checked everything was ok and it all was! I got discharged 5 hours later, I stayed in the hotel a 2 minute walk away from the Fitzroy as I live 2 hours away my surgeon didn’t want me traveling in case I had any complications so he wanted me to stay local! The day of my surgery went so well I’d do it over and over again I couldn’t thank my surgeon or the MYA nurses enough, they put my mind at ease the whole time!

   

• How was your recovery?

  My recovery was easier then I thought it would be, pain wise anyway! The mixture of emotions drove me insane one day i would love them the next I would dislike them it stsyef like that for a few weeks whilst the swelling was going up and down.

  I totally recommend a v shape pillow as the sleeping propped up can become difficult my partner had to help me up for the first week and it can become tiring especially for all you mummies considering a ba!

  Also don’t forget to take your pills on time else you may regret it like i did, they help a lot for the first couple of days.

  Remember girls surgeons can’t work miracles, what they can do is enhance what you already have!

• Are you happy with your results?

  One word.. AMAZED!!

  I couldn’t wish for better results! I’m so much more confident and I can finally go out in low cut tops and I’ve also booked my first holiday abroad so I can wear bikinis!! If you are looking to have a breast augmentation look no further, MYA are such a good company to go for!!
