• Why did you want the procedure?

  So I’ve never really had boobs bigger than a handful so have constantly had to wear padded bras/bikinis.

  I’ve also had to have it in the back of my mind say if I was online shopping, that certain clothing just wouldn’t suit my frame /I wouldn’t be able to wear a bra with and will just simply look like a 12 year old boy.

  It’s a procedure I considered for long time and have waited patiently incase puberty suddenly wanted to be my friend.

  Unfortunately, this isn’t the case and I decided I’m just going to do it!

• Why did you choose MYA?

  The reviews with MYA are great, I love how there’s actual before and after pictures so it can put an idea of what your boobs can look like.

  The fact there’s been a couple of celebrities who have had work with MYA also gives confidence that they know what they’re doing.

• How was your consultation?

  Both my Patient Consultation and my Surgeon Consultation were amazing.

  My PC was Leanne from Birmingham Clinic. She’s friendly and honest and being a patient herself who has been through the same process really put me at ease.

  My Surgeon I’ve gone with is Mr Frati. He was straight to the point but actually very polite. I could just tell he knew what he was doing his confidence you could just sense from the way he carried himself.

  I got to try on implants in both consultations which was really helpful with getting an idea what that sized implant will look like with your certain body shape.

  My Pre Op was just as lovely, Amanda really shared my excitement and made me feel completely at ease (even when I had to put a cotton bud up my nose!) although you feel slightly naked chilling there with your spuds out for the before photo, it will be totally worth it seeing the after photos!

• How was the day of your procedure?

  I arrived at Preston hospital a whole hour too early for my admission time, however the staff were sooo friendly and lovely they showed me to my room, said I can chill watch TV and stuff as there was a bit of a wait ahead, done my pregnancy test, go through general health questions, my nurse was Alan who was a 5/5 stars, went down to the surgery table at 3 was ringing my boyfriend to come by 4.30 (although was very ‘drunk’ off the meds and embarrassingly told my nurse of my aubergine dream I had and high fived Dr Fratti and called him a ‘Boob God’ *cringe)  was able to eat food, the boyf helped me to the toilet after having my drains out (which other than feeling weird weren’t that bad!) and was discharged later that night stocked up with my meds and advise off my lovely nurse.

• How was your recovery?

  Only 11DPO but so far, it’s been a fairly smooth ride. It’s more an achy tight feeling more than anything, so if I actually excersised, I imagine that’s what it would feel like after a hard session.

  Sleep isn’t the most existent thing for the first few days but it’s all very bearable and worth it, not in a million years as bad as I thought it was going to be.

• Are you happy with your results?

  So far yes, I am firmly in the ‘Madonna’ pointy cone boob stage tho, so can’t wait for the D&F to do it’s magic!

   

  * Update* Am now a year post op and a DD/E, best purchase ever, would 100% recommend MYA for the whole process from the first consultation, the nurses, the Surgeon and defo the results!
