• Why did you want the procedure?

  After 2 beautiful breast fed boys and a weight loss of over 4.5 stone, I was left with two empty sacks where my boobs used to be. I knew I would need an uplift as well as implants. After researching for over 2 years I decided to just go for it.

• Why did you choose MYA?

  I chose MYA as I researched and I loved that everyone was over the moon with their procedures. MYA put me at ease straight away.

• How was your consultation?

  My first consultation with Julie at the Newcastle clinic was amazing I felt right at home, she listened to my wishes and understood me perfectly. She fit me in the very next day for my first consultation with my surgeon Mr Mounir, when I met him I instantly knew he would be my surgeon, he discussed size, look and outcome etc with me. Everyone at the clinic made me feel so welcome and relaxed.

• How was the day of your procedure?

  The day of my procedure I checked into The First Trust Hospital in Preston, I was taken straight to my ensuite private room by a nurse who went through details with me, gave me my gown and the sexy paper knickers as well as a pot to pee in for the pregnancy test, we laughed and joked and I felt completely relaxed the whole time. I checked in at 11am and had my procedure approx 1.5hours later, I met the guy who was going to put me to sleep, he was lovely, I’m terrified of needles and he put me at ease, I never even saw a needle. The last thing I remember was him telling me that the stuff he put in my hand would hit me like 2 bottles of wine then I was out. I woke up back in my room pain free!!! I stayed over night and never felt like I was bothering anyone when I needed a nurse etc. I was constantly topped up with pain meds, food and drink. It was like staying in a hotel. I didn’t sleep very well but that was down to having to sleep sitting up.

• How was your recovery?

  I am 5 days post op now and recovering well. I have my first check up on Tuesday at Newcastle.

• Are you happy with your results?

  I am over the moon so far with my results, I know that everything has to settle into place and I’m trying not to get attached to these very perky high boobs!!
