• Why did you want the procedure?

  I wanted a breast enlargement as I felt my body wasn’t in proportion and always felt a little insecure about my boobs having to wear padded bras all the time.

• Why did you choose MYA?

  I chose MYA as I felt very welcomed when I went there, also I loved that it has a forum so I could see what other girls thought and what they was going through.

• How was your consultation?

  My first consultation went well I met my PC and spoke about everything fully, my mum came with me so she could ask all the questions that she had concerns about. My consultation with my surgeon (Dr Frati) also went well I told him what size I would like a D and he asked me to go behind the curtain (as my mum was in the room) and take off my top and bra he measured me and gave me some implants to try on, he suggested 375 high profile partials and I trusted him.

• How was the day of your procedure?

  The day of my procedure was great! I got there at 10:00 I was sharing my room with a lovely lady the nurses were all so friendly, I went down to my opperation about 14:00 the whole team there were great, very friendly and made me feel at ease! I woke up around 15:00 with new boobs I felt great and cried a bit with emotion as it was all over, I got wheeled back to my room where my mum was waiting and had some toast and tea and was sleeping till about 18:00. When I needed to get up to go a wee the nurse came to help me as I head drips in, and I felt very light headed and sick, the nurses rushed around giving me water and putting a fan on me I then started to feel better again. Getting the drains out was properly the worse thing but it only last about 10 seconds, so I got through it without too much of a fuss. I left the hospital at 21:00.

• How was your recovery?

  My recovery honeslty was easy! I thought I would be in bad pain for the first 4 days but I didn’t feel anything I never took any pain relief I was in bed most of the time but could walk around fine my mum did help me to bath for the first week and helped wash my hair for the first 3 weeks. I went back to work 10 days after my opp. There’s been no problems.

• Are you happy with your results?

  I am very happy with my results, by far the best decision I have made! I am now 8 weeks PO got measures yesterday and I’m a 30DD!
